The introduction of school buses converting to propane fuel represents a remarkable advancement in transportation technology. Propane, a clean-burning fuel, offers numerous benefits for both the environment and the future of our school transportation system. The movement to get more school buses converted over to clean school buses is fully supported by the Environment Protection Agency. In fact, the EPA has $400 million dollars in funding to incentivize and accelerate the replacement of existing school buses with clean school buses, including propane buses. Propane buses are eligible for up to $35,000 per bus.
