The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is now accepting applications from Minnesota school bus owners and operators for grant funds to help partially fund new propane gas school bus replacements across Minnesota.
Approximately $252,000 of the $630,000 funds available are dedicated to replacing school buses that operate in Greater Minnesota in an effort to reduce diesel emissions and improve air quality and public health by removing older diesel buses from operation and replacing them with new, cleaner buses.

School bus operators who act quickly can secure up to $20,000 per bus replacement for qualifying districts. To read all of the details, eligibility guidelines, and application process, visit the School Bus Replacement Grant page.
