We’d like to introduce you to Kelly McDermond, the Store Manager at Melrose 1 Stop. Kelly joined our team on August 17, 2020 to support our Melrose 1 Stop employees and customers.

Kelly McDermond, Melrose 1 Stop Store Manager
Managing Melrose 1 Stop involves a variety of leadership duties for Kelly. First and foremost providing excellent customer service, training and developing the team, evaluating business needs and developing new ideas. This is in addition to overseeing day to day operations of the store such as cashiering, ordering food/grocery products, working in the deli and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Kelly joins us with a strong background working with the public and in customer service. She started running a cash register when she was 12 years old at her parent’s grocery store! She’s worked in the restaurant and bar industry for about 30 years, doing everything from being a waitress, bartender, cook in addition to managing and even owning for about 15 years. She loves people, the fast pace of the industry and always knowing that she’ll get to meet someone new or learn something new every day!
Kelly’s favorite part of of the job is serving the customers and making sure they have a great experience. AND of course working with the Melrose 1 Stop team!
In her free time she decorates for all the seasons, does home projects, makes crafts, does flower gardening, listens to music, cooks, and entertains family and friends at her home. Kelly is an energetic and important part of the Melrose 1 Stop and Rahn’s Oil & Propane team. We’re lucky to work with her. Say hello next time you visit Melrose 1 stop!
